Whistle Stop Cafe was recently purchased by NSCG (North Shore Capital Group) in June 2022. November 3rd, 2022 we expanded the restaurant to include Dinner Service! We are open Thursday through Sunday evenings until 8pm for Dinner.
We've added a lot of delicious NEW menu items to our breakfast, lunch, and dinner service! You can now enjoy a Mimosa or Bloody Mary with your breakfast. Or a glass of wine with your dinner!

Whistle Stop Cafe is located near the Fox Lake, IL Metra Station, which is the end of the line for Milwaukee District North Trains. The Restaurant was established 25 years ago and the train-themed memorabilia is still there to this day. There are quite a few train themed dishes as well! For example, the Whistle Stop, Flatcar and Trackside Skillets.
